Some where I read, blackening is the least important thing when designing optical system. I did not see any blackening on TMB monos and my AP 130 GT. I like them better aesthetically with non-blackened edges.

Like all optics made by AP the current Barcon was introduced.
It is definitely equal to the quality of the Zeiss orthos and barlow IMO .
I think it's one of the finest optics I own.
Is that the AP Barcon is simply outstanding.
