Have you ever trid Orkut for promotion?

I believe Orkut is most popular in South Asia and Brazil. I tried promoting my personal blog on Orkut and did get visitors, however Orkut does not really have apps for integrating it with other social media sites so considering deleting my Orkut profile and focussing on FriendFeed, Facebook and Twitter to promote my blog. source

Are orkut albums safe?

It is safe to upload pics on orkut now but it was not before. Even if you are trying to copy some once images then also it can't be done but yeah, if some one is taking a screen shot and grabbing the picture then only it is possible and there are privacy options for your albums so you don't need to worry about the safety. source

Still on ORKUT?

Facebook and Twitter is more popular I think, I haven't seen ORKUT group link in any website. Good websites have facebook or twitter link on their site. source

Orkut is going to bann?

There are gonna be restrictions, at least that's what TOI reported. Everything started because of an "I hate India" community. source
