I didn't see a lot in the hour I spent at Oxbow Lake. There were a few fishermen there. I did see my first prothonotory warbler and an orange damselfly.

I'm currently in the process of switching my girls to Oxbow food. Right now they are on Mazuri. I currently buy 10 pound bags for $16 at a locally owned pet store. I was wondering if anyone sold it in bulk, or knew of any cheaper online suppliers?

Oxbow cavy performance
Thinking of switching to this but it says for young ones but at what age do they start needing "adult" food? Im thinking 6 months but this seems like a long time to be on an alfalfa based pellet. Help anyone? thanks

Before I knew about that site I switched....
The guinea lynx site says to switch from alfalfa to timothy when piggy is 1 year old and fully developed .
They will just eat more until adulthood/6 months.
You can start with the timothy based pellets at 4 months .
