May 29, 2012 - 10:39am Doctor says that breast pain is not cancer. Of course a doctor left my polyps in my body 10 years ago and now I have cancer so I don't really "trust" doctors anymore. I went for a mammogram at 37. I am now 42, still having the pain...

Said it was called the "xiphoid process." It is basically the end of the sternum/breast bone.

I would love to here people respond because that is exactly the way my problems began.
Sorry to say I didn't take the Nexium right away. That was 3 yrs ago, I had pain in "Xiphoid" area, the tip of the sternum Sternum - view of the outside (anterior) ...

The pain and pressure in the diaphragm are always constant, but can get very much pain.
4 yrs ago I had gastritis, which was brought under control with PPIs and H2 foods and drinks .

I went o to the doctor, and he told me that it's not a lump on my xiphoid process.
But I notice it when I jog.

Am i the only one who gets really annoyed when a female patient asks for a female dr? usually citing "religious reasons", even though no religion dictates that you can't see a male physician.... even worse is that some of the nurses buy into it and make...
