I have an address book/calendar from my old Palm-based smart phone stored in Palm Desktop on my Windows box.
Does anybody have suggestions about how I could go about getting the data onto my Mac/iPhone?

Congigure iTunes to sync calendars....
Another method to do this is to get your palm to sync your palm app.
If you can import from Palm Desktop to the system Address Book, then you can just sync that to your to the iphone from that as well.

Am I crazy to think about moving my family to Palm Springs? I'm tired of the winter and my wife and I love Palm Springs. Are there neighborhoods with a lot of young children? What about the schools? so many questions, hardly know where to start.
Thanks...

In Palm Springs, you can take the aerial tramway up in the upscale Palm Springs area golf communities....
I haven't been in a few years, but it gets you up close to owls, eagles, coyotes, wolfs, etc .

I'm an experienced programmer looking for a good reference and tutorial for developing for Palm OS in either C or C++? What are some good (up to date) books, reference manuals, and sites that would set me in a direction to start developing on the Palm...

Maybe you want to develop for the new Pre, then you might want Palm.
But Palm OS Programming was good for its time.
There are no up to date books on PalmOS, because the OS hasn't changed in years .

Last weekend I had the opportunity to ride Palm Canyon for the first time. This ride was very epic from pure cross country to all mountain. 2 broken chains and several miles later I am happy to say my GoPro video is finally done. Check it out will ya?...

The published code for Palm OS applications doesn't include standard headers, but instead uses Palm OS APIs for things like StrCopy and MemMove. Can I use standard headers and functions or do I need to convert my code to use the Palm OS versions?

From a program size point....
In CW for Palm OS V9, there's a pretty full version libraries for your targets.
Palm OS APIs, you'll probably work better on the platform, but both CodeWarrior and prc-tools had some library functions implemented.

Does anyone have experience with using a good quality IDE for Palm OS?
In particular I'm looking for the ability to compile small non-colour .prc files for roll out to older Palm III models (8MB).

I found it pretty helpful.
Are you sure it wasn't Palm Mojo or maybe they just meant they were using a Palm host?
