In California, Riverside County
When you are arrested while on parole and you are waiting to see the board after your arrest. I know they only have a certain amount of days to come to see you. Does anyone know how many days it actually is? and what happens...

Appellate Court just ruled on Friday ....
My husband finally got the notice from the board and it did say he would be seen within 35 days .
My husband is also in riverside and his PO told me that they are so backed up that they have extended it to 35 days .

I have a loved one who is serving a life sentence and it states the possibility of parole after 30. I am wondering how that works, and what is "good time". He is not a US citizen so many of the programs will not help him in any way towards early release...

Sadly, there is no chance for early release when you're serving a life sentence .
In Minnesota, a person serving a life sentence is not eligible for parole until they have served on parole.
