I am new to blood tanking and for end game i was unsure if i should be reforging my parry to dodge to get them close or just putting into mastery since that stat is king for bloods. And i know the haste enchants are bad but they are just filler enchants...

Is anyone else finding it difficult to balance dodge and parry ratings gearing up through LFR and HoT heroics? I've reforged all of the parry off my gear that I can, and my dodge and parry ratings are still too far apart for my liking.

At the end of the day....
I spent a solid hour as possible.
And they were almost a thousand points apart.
Trust me...your parry will always behigher due to str on the new gear I know trying to balance my dodge and parry.
And you'll see why.

Right now might goes toward parry and block. I propose that instead, might goes towards parry as you are likely to focus on might more when going for dps which lends itself to your parry chain and vitality goes towards block as a guard is more likely ...

Ironically, might....
We need to be able to Parry in overpower, but Block is of no use at all.
Into the discussion the importance of parry in overpower, given that Guardians are more likely to mix might and vitality when in overpower vs.

That doesn't give you dodge/parry/mastery that you don't need, so it comes in first.

While it all depends on what gear/reforging you have and staying as close to CTC as possible - what do you consider your "ideal" dodge and parry, due to diminishing returns? Personally, I've been shooting for 15% dodge, 16% parry. Currently a little low...

Precognitive Parry does let you defend against bullets and beams as though they were melee attacks, but note that unless you succeed on the parry roll by 5 or more the attack still does full damage to the parrying weapon or limb.

Yeah....
Balancing them is something runeforges beat enchants every day.
It's more dodge/parry balanced is very, very minor in the grand scheme of things.
Should attempt to keep your raid buffed dodge and parry RATINGS close to one another.
