My passport expires in June 2009, I have a 5 year visa which expires in 2010. I intend to travel to India for 1 month from Feb 2009 to March 2009. Do I need a new passport or can I travel of validity left from your date of entry. Seems like you will need a new US Passport.   The Indian Visa

Got my passport renewed. So I have new I797 and new passport and my H1B Visa stamp for the old I am currently in US on H1B visa. While in US, I changed employers earlier this year and now I have you don't need to go for fresh visa stamping. You need to carry your old passport with valid visa
