I've got an IP camera hooked into a server at a remote location.
The server is FTP-ing a constant series to 20-second video clips

So far, so good...
Problem is that the camera goes nuts after dark...

I am planning to buy a new motherboard, CPU, memory and Windows 7,
64 bit. Do I have to buy the Windows 7 from the same vendor and the
motherboard at the same time?
If I can buy Windows 7 64 bit without buying a motherboard at the

My sister has just bought a new Win7 computer.
She wants me to put all her photo files, from the
old machine, and on CDs into the new one. There
are about 3000 photos altogether.
She is profoundly computer illiterate.
What is the best way? Should I store...

What is the best way to partition a 2tb hard drive for Windows 7 64
bit? I am thinking of a small "C" drive for Windows and programs
and a big "D" for all my data. Another possibility is a small "C"

I've lost a file with the word pressure in the name. It and a wbk file
are not found in a search. I had them Friday the 11th. I looked in

I have a 500 Gb external USB disk. In W7 Ult it is recognised as a disk, given
a drive letter and works fine. In W7 Home Premium on my wife's laptop, it comes
up as a disk icon in 'Printers and Devices', has no drive letter, and apparently
cannot be read...
