Not sure if y'all read the Peachparts SL forum, but barri over there is selling his megasquirted Euro 450SL.

When changing front brakes last weekend noticed the leading edge of the upper spring perch on the passenger side is cracked at the bend and separated from the unit body. This hasn't been a big issue for the 124 but it now is for me. Got lots of feedback...

The 210 problem showed up way way earlier in the aging process, so their issues are much more acute... .
I suspect this will be an issue we see more and more as these cars age .
I've not personally seen this, but I think I'd both bolt and weld it into place .

If you're using the OEM halogens from that era I thought that many years ago Drew did a write up on how to... .
You could even do it to your radio if you really wanted but I wouldnt suggest it .
Just find something with switched power and run a wire to it.. .
