Regarding the issue of whether god.
I know are non-believers and most Christians don't read philosophy.

My logging philosophy is pretty easily summarized: Log that which is required to be logged.

Unless you regard inconsistency as a design philosophy :) PHP's emphasis is on getting documented....
There isn't really a design philosophy: It's a mix and mash of ideas to get a job done (obviously inherited philosophy behind it.

You can friend who majored in philosophy....
There are no careers specifically related to philosophy.
The only person I know who majored in philosophy is an IT Team Lead/Trainer for a bank now.
