I am designing a website.I want to validate the mobile no. entered by the user on the registration page, by sending a verification code to his mobile phone. Can anyone give me pointers to how should i proceed with it??

If you're-distance dialing (ie, 303-555-1234, as opposed to 1-303-555-1234).

There is a recovery email in the account to the phone....
But it doesn't offer to send the verification code to that email address, only the inaccessible phone number is to send a verification code to the registered landline.
