I haven't tried buying anything, since my groceries market issues but the older... .
My t-mobile sim is 5+ yrs old and google wallet works fine from the previously leaked Sprint Nexus S Wallet build).
I think it's an AT&T issue.
No ICS sadly.

Has anyone tried a combined wallet/case for your mobile? My dad just got himself an iPhone4 - under some misguided notion that it would be easier to use than his old Nokia. I did try to warn him. Anyway, he'd got it now, so moving on! I want to get him...

I heard that Google Wallet was made available to Galaxy Nexus users on AT&T last night. Has anyone tried it yet? I would think that it would also work on the Nexus S, as well. If you sign up now, Google is still giving users $10 on their prepaid card ...
