I am just getting into photography as a hobby, and am looking for some good tools for image uploading/browsing/editing.
I am currently using the Canon EOS utility that came with the camera for uploading, Picasa for browsing, and GIMP for editing.

I use Gimp, free software that kind software and Elements, but I don't do a huge amount of processing, I try to get the shot I'm after.
Is around the £50 mark and again a very good option .

Best 360 Product Photography Software??

Is there anyone out there that can recommend any good quality 360 Product Photography software that has the ability to zoom and change the colour of the same clothing item?

Im dont think you'd be able to change an item of clothings inside the software, but you can export the images into Photoshop, make any adjustments you need of detail.
software as ours came with a machine as well.

I need it to voice over videos and add special effects like explosions and gun fire.
i dont want the software to be too expensive or to complicated.

Maybe it is here now but you have to pay up?
Did you try the Apple video editing, creation software? Nice stuff effects in afterwards.
Maybe there will be a "no lessons required" software for you someday.

Where is this photo stored? On a folder in Win 7, (which one), or some other media?... .
Bob on all image files or just some?
I see you're using Windows 7 32 bit .

Also see if the FOLDER is read only.
Select the file and right click properties.

You should be able to create this affect without software quite easily but it might help.
It's done in photography by focusing on something closer (your sensor.
Basically, that's not a PS effect.
