The image on the right is the one that I produced in photoshop. I then stripped all text and put it in an image view, as soon as I did that there was a change in colour and the vertical line lost it sharpness. Has anyone else run into a similar problem...

Did you export your graphic as a png file?
Are the dimensions correct? Is the position of the image an integer? If these cases antialiasing will slightly blur your image. .
The iPhone SDKs png optimization might the source of your problem .

I didn't see any real thread for renders of aircraft/game characters/whatever, so I figured that this might be at the very least somewhat useful.

12 hours stuck in the Beijing Airport with 90% of my sites censored and a laptop with Photoshop Elements. I think I'll be entering this one!

A couple of mechs - I'm rather pleased (despite the lack of setting) as these are the first images I am happy with which came out of Daz Studio.
I did add a bit of bloom in Photoshop elements afterwards, if anyone else is interested in how, I followed...

Not tbad tho not bad, they remind me of eleats from halo I think I like the red one more, the other texture scheme reveals problems with the normals .
The red one is neat tho i dont aprove of the bloom as it just makes things to blurry for me .
