In the English language, using pieces wouldn't be the appropriate word...
Instead I used "invite(s)".
You should note that I didn't use the word "pieces" .
Are the changes for language/en/mods/meghivo.php.

Ahh, this seems to be a good idea, but it sounds more like a plugin approach .
I did something similar for PunBB, i think it's not more complicated for PhpBB, the easiest way enought with phpBB.

Seems your host ( http://heavyhoster.com/ ) isn't coping well with the update, they are even having issues with their own website .

Yes, phpBB 4 coding is (sort of) active.
Work is currently being done for 3.1 Development of phpBB is active, but the next major version will be 3.1 and not 4.
