How does the sound quality of a digital piano, such as the Roland FP7, compare with some of the newer virtual instruments / sample libraries, such as Alicia's Keys and Ivory 2. Anyone have any experience of the difference?

I prefer the weight of my Kawai MP8 and Roland Fantom G8 boards guess that its waveform ROM is limited to 64MBto 128MB megabytes.
Like the Korg weighted piano feel.

Failing a Piano exam
Just done my grade 7 piano exam (abrsm) and I've been ill and not with it all week and that exam was just terrible. There were a couple of scales/arpeggios that just went out the window messed up notes/timing in pieces and site reading...

Microkorg How about non-electronic: melodica? piano accordion? harmonium? melodica is a good alternative practice away from the piano....
If you just want to hear and make melodies have a look at the critter and guitari pocket piano.
