Buttermilk Coffee Cake
This is my grandmother's recipe.
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp allspice
2 cups sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
3/4 shortening
mix well and save out 1/2 cup

We have some left over heavy cream (one pint) unopen. It expires soon and I'd like to use it instead of wasting it.
