beets until tried "mock apple pie" made with vanilla wafer or ritz
crackers or whatever the heck it is.

Shepherd's Pie - Probably more ideal to make in bulk and bring to a classroom full of hungry students! Shepherd's pie is traditionally made with Lamb,that is more expensive.
Served with fries(chips) and a homemade Tartar sauce.
