An average pit bull against an average feral pig and the pit would win, but there are some pigs that grow to be extremely large, over 400 lbs and no dog could take one down one on one.

Thinking about going wild pig hunting. I'm a long time elk and deer hunter but the cost to hunt in and out of state is killing me.
As I understand it, wild pigs can be hunted year long with no bag limit. I like that part.

Some coworkers and I are looking to do some pig hunting. The reason for FL or AZ is based on cheap flights to either place almost anytime. None of us have ever done any sort of pig hunting so all or any advice would be very helpful thanks. Oafey

Friends who hunt hogs do so on private property...agricultural lands and usually feeders .
Um yeah, I'd like to do that too! Just a FL resident...FL does have hog seasons on public property, private property none .
