Here in Lexington Park. Seems to be hanging on several pine trees close to the trunk of the individual branches. If this is some type of fungus, hopefully, not severe enough to affect the tree itself. Anyone familiar with this ? Thank you. Anna

Ponderosa pine is common to Oregon . Also, Scotch pine, Douglas fir, Noble fir, Fraser fir, Virginia pine, Balsam fir & white pine.

Does anyone have any experience removing all of the new growth off of White Pines every year. I have a customer that doesn't want the tree to get any larger.

You've got a wrong tree wrong place situation or another are really....
Could you get the client with but for large trees I wouldn't do it.
White pines do respond really well to reductions though.
If it's a mature tree.
