I have a 2004, VW Tansporter campervan, which is great in every respect except for the painfully loud seatbelt reminder. Is there any way to disable this feature or at least make it a softer, gentle reminder rather than clanking cymbols. cheers Carpes...

Should read that the US doesn't have seatbelt warnings, and other markets only have it for the drivers seat in the ignition.
You know, with it being the law and all..
Putting your seatbelt on should solve this issue.

Process is switch on ignition, then plug and unplug.
Make the seatbelt warning ping shut up by doing and undoing the safety belt onto the buckle really fast cancel the seatbelt chime, I hated it anyway.

It had moisture at some point (seatbelt mold spots), but no smells, all electronics work, etc.
