So I've been choppin samples for a while now, made some pretty good stuff but my most common problem is that i make a sequence with my chopped samples that I really like but when I've recorded it, it never sounds like it did when I was freestyling ...

Maybe you have quantize on? as your 'freestylin', use one hand to push the TAP TEMPO button on the mpc on every beat/quarter note/head nod....
You can use the tap tempo to get in the general ballpark, and then dial it in like you mentioned...

I'm stumped. In the last few days I've developed a nagging pain in my middle toe. It hurts, sometimes, on push-off when walking and running. But not always.

Locating an outlet box buried behind sheetrock... I've had to locate a lot of buried receptacle and switch boxes, usually without too much difficulty.
Usually you know the height of the box, and with a 4-foot straight edge you can pivot on the high spot...

I have the economy version tempo wire finder ($275 ish not doing there job right, it should not reflect on you.
