SetWindowPosition second parameter is hWndInsertAfter which means behind. How do I place a window in front of another (above)?

How about you call SetWindowPos again, swapping the hwnd parameters (so your original window is now the hWndInsertAfter, and the initial hWndInsertAfter is now the hWnd you're moving), and passing in the SWP_NOMOVE flag?

I'm thinking it wouldn't be too complicated to do.
You could, however, create a custom control that would encompass this functionality .
To my knowledge, this is not possible with the standard .NET picturebox control .

Hi, I'm looking for an API or a combination of API's where I can send "Anjuna, India" and get back a list of places nearby. The data is mostly for "third world" countries, less so for Europe/US. Any suggestions/ideas about how to structure this?

If you would put your DAL in App_Code in a Webforms project, then... .
I do that, but leave the Models folder and put the models for my views in it .
If you plan to reuse the model outside of the MVC app, a separate class library is still an acceptable setup .

Because many method which i have used does this, but they ll ultimately end up in copying each file by it conetents? as i have text files with lots of contents i will be a slow process?

I'm not sure if you want to move a directory, or or the files in it, but could you use renameTo and something like.. .
You could use FileUtils from Apache Commons IO ?
I would recommend something like FileUtils from Apache Commons IO .
