Only golf equipment has a higher placebo effect than placebo pain medications.
FDA studies consistently show about a 1/3 improvement in pain scores for double blind placebo controlled drug studies for the patients not...

One study that was in a book I read said that they told a patient they were arm didn't.i don't know if this is true, but if it's, it seems like your club fitting placebo theory would be correct.

I've been taking birth control pills for 6 months...but I always want to have sex the week i'm off the pill, but refrain because I don't want to get pregnant just yet.
