From SQL Server Management Studio check the 'Include Actual Execution Plan' option in the toolbar, then execute the procedure, see Displaying....
Defining the parameters as local variables, and Displaying the Estimated Execution Plan ( Ctrl-L ).

You can create your own plan and customize create a plan that keeps the display turned on during the presentations and ensures that your computer stays awake.
High performance you have to manually set it to show it .

Does anyone know of a tool that can be used to compare (relatively complex) query plans? I'm not looking for a guide to query plans, but just a tool that enables me to quickly see e.g. the different index use.

Find that for complex plans its useful to look at the raw Xml of the plan just for the abilityI'm not aware of a ready-made tool for this, just if you use SET SHOWPLAN_XML ON to get the plans comparison tool.

I opened their Christmas mailer to find out they have an offer to get your cash now and they gave numbers to call. Nobody is answering the Customer Action Center so I called 856 40 51.
