Genecide is the first that pops up sorry mate :D i personally reckon its the individual platy as i have keppt them twice before and never had any bullying I've not seen the striped platy first hand massively aggressive with platy,....
Anyone know how old/how big lfs usually take platy fry? Mine are 1 1/2 weeks old

When I had platy fry the Lfs said to bring them In when they are big enough not to get sucked up that bought platy fry :/ Lol I might not have this one much longer, they're hurting for business.

Platys like salt in their tank, anyway, and I've heard it can help with swim bladder....
I've used salt to successfully treat anything from fungus to stress in my fish .
Do you use salt in his tank? If not, you should consider adding some aquarium salt .

She definitely has all the signs of giving birth soon .
She will look like a little balloon, unless this is her first time .
When she is ready to give birth, you defiantly know .

Make sure.
If it's just establishing territory it could go away.
Watch for damage on the platy fish.

My platy fry do.
Using water from another tank does pretty much nothing, there is no bacteria in it .
