Mysterious platy
I have had three platys in my 60l tank and they were all males. I have one dominant one which is light blue with three vertical black stripes but it doesn't seem to get along with the others, the dark blue platy has been laying low amongst...

Genecide is the first that pops up sorry mate :D i personally reckon its the individual platy as i have keppt them twice before and never had any bullying I've not seen the striped platy first hand massively aggressive with platy,....

When I had platy fry the Lfs said to bring them In when they are big enough not to get sucked up that bought platy fry :/ Lol I might not have this one much longer, they're hurting for business.

At her age it may just be something age related and incurable (possibly a tumor like you said) but a picture would be extremely helpful .

This is a video of my Silver Wag Platy. She's very pregnant, and her attitude has changed recently (she's been laying on the bottom of my tank.) Does this mean she's in labor? If not, how do I tell when she is?

Was just watching my platies and happened to see a little newborn swim by. So small I almost mistook it for fish food, as I just fed them lol. I don't have high hopes of many surviving but it does have floating plants so I think I'll see a couple reach...

Platys like salt in their tank, anyway, and I've heard it can help with swim bladder....
I've used salt to successfully treat anything from fungus to stress in my fish .
Do you use salt in his tank? If not, you should consider adding some aquarium salt .

Her anal cavity is opened slightly,....
She definitely has all the signs of giving birth soon .
She will look like a little balloon, unless this is her first time .
When she is ready to give birth, you defiantly know .
Probably about 3-4 weeks, give or take.

If it's just establishing territory it could go away.
Watch for damage on the platy fish.
