You usually get platys and guppies pregnant from the LFS.
You'll know for sure in a month.
It's tough to tell from this pic, but I would believe so .
If there's a male around, all female platys are always pregnant.

G'day All,
I realise this sort of post comes up a lot so apologies for starting it up again.
I'm about 90% certain one of my platies is pregnant, I have all the necessary equipment and have read other forums as to what the typical pregnancy looks like...

It was a hastily set up tank to which I added a couple of heavily pregnant Platy's - Two days later, I removed the females & was left with about 10 surviving fry - this was about 4 days ago.
The tank itself has only been set up about 8 days - not sufficient...

Keep an eye on her, she probably ran into the side of the tank or scraped it on the gravel or decoration .
