Thinking of staying at one of Riu Hotels and was wondering if you can walk from the hotels on the PlayaCar beach all the way through to the ferry dock in Playa Del Carmen? Or do you have to walk on the street to get to Playa Del Carmen?

No problems with ....
Priced a few and it wasn't that much difference.
Not sure how they compare in price with the others .
We have used Thomas More the past 6 years.
I would recommend them.
There were cheap, safe, and reliable.
We just used USA Transfers.

Of the regular Ocean Front rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, can you tell how many of them have king beds vs how many are doubles? Thanks, John bar-10-der, you did all lot of work!!! Same here as impurff, I am interested on the ocean view rooms too but... .

Why lose money exchanging money twice? You will overpay on everything by 25% if you pay in dollars .
Especially for a Canadian.
They will take American money but it's always in your best interest to pay in pesos .
This has come up a lot.

We normally don't frequent the same destination over but we have now been to Playa Playa del Carmen because of the mixture....
The world is a big place and yes there are some other amazing places out there but Playa is addicting for sure.

There is a big diff from a 40-60 % chance of rain and a 100 % chance of rain so relax... .
Ya the news is stop reading forecasts....there are 10 threads a week about whats the weather and people come home and say"huh it never rained but the forecast showed .
