Just curious on peoples opinion, we are staying as the Caracol (north of Playa) and were thinking of walking into Playa one morning, it about 90 minute walk so I have been told. Is this safe to do so? thanks!

It kind of depends on your budget.
There are 100's of choices.
I picked it for the location.
I have the RIU Playacar booked for October as a single .
Hotel Playa Maya and/or Luna Blue.

What types of whiskey and beer do they have at the Royal Playa del Carmen? Is there Crown Royal? Is there Budweiser or Budlight? Is there anywhere you can view the menus? Can you use floaties in the pool?

Almost as dozens of restaurants & bars all within walking distance of most-resorts, then Playa del Carmen is it! Hope this helps! I agree with both....
The food there was....terrible.
IMO, all the positives would go to Playa over Punta Cana .

Where would you catch the ADO bus in Playa and how much not familiar with Cancun.
