Hi guys! I need some help. I want my hamster to run around but not to get lost and I mean other than a hamsterball. How can I make a homemade hamster playpen with as less used items please because I don't want to buy it.
Thanks.

I use the bath for my hamster, Cinnamon! So do other people round the forum!
Just lay a towel down that will fit the bath and add a couple of your hammies favourite toys!
It's nice and big and free! Thanks but the bath isn't so comfortable for me .

My so thinks so. Yesterday I bought our son one and my son cries all the time when you put him in there. So I have been putting him in there, while I sit in it too, and when he's distracted with playing, I get out. But then he will realize you're gone...

But while you're busy cleaning or peeing or whatnot, wouldn't he rather the LO be safe? Posted on CafeMom Mobile I only use playpens when I do things like shower and can't watch them.
Only if you leave your kid in it all day long .

We got a Hauck travel cot and used it as a playpen for months! Couldn't fault the concept it as a playpen while we were away so he didn't get confused as to whether it was for play or sleep even started using it as a playpen.

Just bought a playpen for my little guy and want to outfit it with other toys besides sticks and cardboard boxes. Any ideas of products that people use to entertain their chins while in their playpens or play-areas?

I have a dust bath in the playpen....
My boys favorite play thing in the playpen is me to jump and wall surf! My boys all share a wheel that they only have access to in the playpen, so.
On top of a box but will not try to chew at it .

My back is killing me today so dd is happily playing with her toys in the playpen while I have my feet up on the couch!

But i don't have the room for a crib right now so when someone said they used a portable playpen.
I didn't think of using a playpen for my first 3.
They can sleep in it or play in it like a play pen .

Big size! It may have just become Scamp's new playpen if we decide the current box doesn't work
Just did the maths for the inside space and thats enough space to be worth using as a Scamp playpen too.
