I am working on an iPhone application that uses a MediaPlayer to play a couple different videos. It works great for the first video but when I try to play another the screen stays black and only the audio plays. Does anyone have any idea why this might...

I've noticed a bug in 3.0 that if you try to play a video; [mMoviePlayer play]; }
You should also note that the playback issues may only occur in the simulator.

Edit: according to this question , you can fade the ipod sound out but not back in .
Have you tried simply playing the sound? I suspect this is automatic functionality on the part of the SDK.

The breakpoint can be set through the "breakpoints" ....
When the breakpoint hits, look at the current call stack to see what called the method .
You can debug your program in Visual Studio, and set a breakpoint on the System.Media.SystemSound.Play method .

Is there a way to detect if a flash movie contains any sound or is playing any music?
It would be nice if this could be done inside a webbrowser (actionscript from another flash object , javascript,..) and could be done before the flash movie starts playing...

It's a lot tricker -- i'm pretty sure there's no easy way to determine in advance if a swf plays audio.

Hi,
I am trying to put an FLV video on a website.
I tried using Dreamweaver CS3 (Insert - Media - Flash Video), it works great except for 2 problems:
The video starts black (How do you show an image prior to playing the video?)
The browser starts downloading...

My friend created some .mov files with his mac. Now I'm trying to play them in my Windows 7 machine with Windows Media Player and I only see sound but not image. There must be an encoding issue. But how do I find out what encoder I need?
