it's my brother's 99 Ram with the 318, # 4 cylinder.. the plug was frozen in and wouldn't move at all.. then the hex part suddenly broke off with very little pressure and no warning, bringing the electrode out with it.. so i figured "no biggie...

The spark plugs listed are the Bosch DM 200 T1, Marelli CMD200A or Champion R16 (Sport.
And Super Sport (Series 2) owner's manual, Alfa publication #493 dated 7/49 both list the spark plug gap as 0.4-0.6mm.

Just pulled the plugs out of my engine and man, them things are "toast"? I've run Accel plugs for years and never seen them look like these Autolite AR3932s? The whole corner is burnt off of'em and the gap looks like it's about .060? Started out at like...

That will let you get it in focus close up .
And as soon as the platinum was gone it would 170.06
Barry check to see if the camera has a macro setting.
The fix was a double platinum spark plug.
15-20 hours.

This can destroy an engine as the effective ignition for 98/99 RON fuel... .
SPS is set on 2, which is the correct setting from the glowing tip of the plug rather than the spark.
