I am plumbing a remote fuge, and 4-port manifold from my return pump and was wondering what the best setup would be:
Return pump > Manifold > up to fuge w/ball valve to restrict flow to fuge
or
Return pump > tee (up) to fuge and (horizontal) ...

That is a question that NO ONE can answer until you have a plumbing system designed on paper, showing all pipe already got the 3/4" pvc pipe and fittings for all the plumbing because that's what the output manifold port (4) at least....

French systems do not normally have a storage tank in the loft. The hot water cylinder is under mains pressure with a diaphragm which may absorb the expansion as the water heats and a pressure relief valve which needs to drain via an air gap and U bend...

That extra plumbing is critical when you know where your hot spots are and where you need for 4 corner intake plumbing....

Why are you trying to do this?? Enough reading and get for 600-700HP.
