I just read a thread discussing room request poems, which is something new to me. Am I more likely to get my room request granted if I send it in writing in the form of a cute poem?

If you don't want feedback then say so, because otherwise people are just going to do on any poem I find unappealing, or I avoid saying anything.

Poems I used to love reading poems, when I was at college. :)
In fact, I had to read them, for my English Literature class (of course!). I like poetry! (At that time, just a few times I had a go at writing ones of my own too, but that was 10 years ago...

Well, like the title says. About a year ago, I read a poem in this forum, it was in a thread about rehoming animals.
It was quite long, and basically the owner got the dog, and spent lots of time with it, then children came along etc and the dog didn'...
