I want to port and polish the exhaust and intake manifold as cheap alternative to headers and uno45 intake manifold as it is free with the minidrill .has anybody trye something like this? i have read that the trofeo 900 run with the stock manifolds probably...

It is a good idea to port match the inlet, use the gasket as a line.
Roughness to 'tumble' the mixture.

Wasnt sure where to ost this here at nasioc. Redirect me toss me around, move the post.. Is a DIY TURBO (sorry forgot the most important word)port and polish on my 2008 wrx possible? If so any info/links/what have you?

Don't expect huge.
I think it is great for a daily driver.
There is a huge+and+polish
I P&P'd my TD04 and I love it.
You didn't state what you want to p&p.
Port and polish can be done on any vehicle.

I have a d16y8 complete head that's port and polished... $150 obo
I have a CLEAN ls head that's been hot tanked, only needs one valve spring retainer, valve cover not included (popped it out and lost it).... $120 obo

D16 vtec? Yes Who ported the head? Was the person who ported the head a professional, and it wasn't just hogged out? Do you have any documented proof that the head actually saw some gains? Was it just gasket matched, or is there actual work....

Iv got a set of ported and polished 2V WINDSOR heads with comp beehive springs. I got the heads from a buddy few years ago. i dont know the actual flow numbers but they are opended up quite abit. nothing wrong with them at all just cleaning out my garage...

The SuperRam is not polished or powdercoated - it's a bare casting like...

On my vectra i have a courtenay sport enlarged tb from original 64mm to enlarged 69mm
can you get enlarged omega throttle bodies? i know there 54mm each is there room for these be enlarged or are the walls to thin?
has anyone done any mods with the omega...

I think it might be a case of making a jig, put it in a 4jaw and go for it Just make sure you have a backup!!! so it is possible to enlarge the tb's?? but by how much? how much gain did you get?... .

Guys I just had this 95 supercharger ported polished and rebuilt but I have purchased an mpx so it is for sale. The port work is outstanding and the finish is great. On a fully open exhaust with stock heads it pushes 15 to 16 psi without coated rotors...

Ported, Polished, Hot Rod Saw!?!? Holy crap, what is this? I go on Ebay and this guy has the 562xp and the 346 xp insanely jacked up. 5hp from the 346 and 5.8hp for the 562. The guy claims they will last for ever if you use some magic purple 100 to 1 ...

Here's a video of restoring my badly scratched Ikelite 8" dome port using Micro Mesh NC-78-1 polishing kit. It worked brilliantly, I'm so happy with the result.
The scratches were bad enough to be obvious in photos.

After seeing how simple and straightforward the process scratched Ikelite 8" dome port....
I worried that I'd ruin the port.
Thanks for the video! I have a dome port that needs polishing, but I have been afraid to try this myself.
