Not sure what he is giving me as far as test wise but there doing multi angle valve job and port and polish and pressure testing....
Intake there foun a 3amgle valve job and port and polishing the bowls out on intake side and doin.

Selling my ported and polished plenum with throttlebody that was purchased 6 months ago. Less than 1000 miles on it. The PST carbon fiber driveshaft has 4k miles on it. It will fit 03-04 cobra with a T56 and IRS.

I've had a KLG4 IM laying around and I'm going for the swap on my DE due to a need to replace the rear vc gaskets. Is it worth to get the KLG4 ported and polish? Also, can you give me an idea of the cost of getting it done? Thanks

That really works mike have you done it For REAL good port and polish probably costs ~$1k and you have port it, it's the only way to really P&P the entire inside of a intake.

When porting and polishing the c20let head is the inlet side suppose to be enlarged to the size of the inlet gasket or is it more important to take out all the lips and area at the top of the inlet port and knife edge the inside and smooth up , not totally...

Ok ill you can very faintly feel their presence if you run your finger over Port matching can back into the manifold and head to avoid disruptive....
I appreciate your self-confidence a lot.
Likely be negligible with the additional port work.

I've gone through....
Pistons and cams should like the extent of port, whether it's properly done, the displacement of the engine, the tune, etc it to others.
For port and polish? It's only the illegal exhaust mods that will get you.

A rough surface on selected areas....
A mirror finish of the port does not provide the increase to a degree of uniform roughness to encourage fuel deposited on the port walls to evaporate quickly.
There Good understanding on polishing..

The only reason im asking is because im trying to do everything to squeeze a few more mpg's in.. ive done everything else as far as cleaning/replacing.. this is just a feeler per say to see if anybody HAS done it and to hear the results.. regardless this...

I spoke with a very old machinist at a diesel specific engine building/machine shop and asked him about porting and polishing my 12v head. he said no. he said they can port and polish it down to the dime but, on a turboed engine it wont make a difference...

The port job to me is only as good as the size of valves you have and the valve job to go "if porting doesn't make a difference....then why can't....
You can build all the psi you want but the small port will only let so much through.

Got a cheap spare head of eBay for 20 bucks.. Before I rebuild it I want to port and polish it. Any one have or know of the tolerances I can go up to?
Also what are quality parts I can rebuild with and still somewhat keep a budget in mind( valve springs...

I have up for sale a GSR port and Polished Head. The work was done by a friend of mine. Head also comes with Skunk 2 valves, valve springs and retainers.
The head is in good working order. It comes with the caps, i know they are not shown in the pic but...
