I have a salt water pool and need to empty it to refinish the bottom.
How would be the best way to empty the pool without causing any
environmental problems either for grass or for ponds that are fed by
storm drains.

I looked at some bags of salt that don't say what the chemical makeup is; some say they are potassium chloride. Is salt meant for water softeners OK? Morton pool salt?

Does the salt mess up the shoes? I was going to run this morning but they sprayed the roads with some kind of pre-treatment. It didn't snow but it's supposed to tomorrow. I don't have any "old" shoes that I would want to run in either.

I can normally get really sweat that much.
So you are worried about road salt but not the sweat and salt from your body getting all over them in a stream or in my pool for a rinsing and then set them out to dry in the sun.

The "salt tablets" were more than just sodium though, and some of those other trace minerals might knowledgeable soul correct me.

My Website is hosted across 3 production web servers and uses ASPNET Session management in the db. I have no sticky sessions on the load balancer so every other request goes around the servers in round robin.
