Well i noticed today my local butcher has legsof pork on special for $7kg will this be ok for pulled pork?

It's shoulders cut into leg section and butt section, will be trying some I can't pass up Pork at $4.99/Kg.

Pulled pork with pork"butt"? I need to turn 9lbs into yummy pulled pork by 2pm tomorrow. I want to plop it in the crockpot with stock and onions on low just unsure of how long this will take.

I've cooked ground pork and mixed with BBQ sauce, but found it dry, does anyone think I should use a filler to keep it moist, or does pork have enough fat to stay moist? I worry because salinqmind mentioned it....

Strangely the masters at nam sing (old airport rd) had not use lard for many years... .
It does make the noodles smoother and more fragrant.
Even char kway teow and fried hor fun stalls use them .
Using lard had always been the way for these noodle masters .
Where in gods name can you buy pork sausages in Perth? All i can find are chicken, beef and lamb sausages.

I'll get my mom's recipe and get it to you tomorrow I'm not a big pork fan, but hers is good it) I second the crock!!! I make pulled pork tacos-yum! I have a really good recipe...I'd have to email with 'mopping' every 3 hours so not as ideal....
