How do I get VLC to play on the second monitor on Windows? On Mac OS, there is an option in the video menu "fullscreen video device". Windows doesn't seem to have that option.
There are various options in the DirectX settings that let you select a monitor...

With it on the left, VLC seems to treat a negative window position as "use defaults (in the Display....
VLC will now remember its position on the right.
Close VLC, done.
Video > Display and check Fullscreen.

I was very pleased to notice vlc 1.5.1 can convert dvd subtitles into dvb subtitles. This is good news for my networked (and nas connected) satelite receiver/pvr which isn't very good at (native) dvd subtitles. Converting my dvd's with subtitle overlay...

Above - do you remember? In it you said that you are able to use VLC to convert DVD to DVB subtitles; obviously you cannot convert bitmaps to text (unless you have an OCR, which VLC does not).

I "downgraded" to VLC is confused: I'm runnning VLC 1.0.0-rc4 on a PPC under
100.5.7 though.

Hey, I'm having the following issue:
v 2.0.0 Windows XP:
I position the VLC window somewhere on my screen. Enter full screen mode. Exit full screen mode. This causes the VLC video window to jump to top-left corner of screen.

Hello,
Settings like eq settings, crop, aspect ratio etc.. are not saved after restart app. I need to open full preferences window and click save from there to make all changes saved. It seems to be good idea to make settings like equaizer, effects etc...
