I am in the process of flushing out my home water softener in order to convert from using salt to potassium with the advantage of being able to use it on plants and aquariums without the sodium content of 500 PPM. Anyone out use potassium ionized water in there aquarium? source

I guess another alternative to using powder form will be to use either ADA brighty K, Ferka K or Seachem Potassium but of course comparatively more costly. Btw, if I'm already using Tropica's fertiliser which contains K, do I still need to dose additional K? source
