What defines child poverty? According to Barnardos,
"A family with two adults and two children needs
to have £352 each week in order to be above the poverty line."
I guess that means actual income after tax and so on.

I have just read that my council area, Ward 23, Buckhaven, Methil and Wemyss Villages, has the highest rate of child poverty in Fife at 40%. What is it like in your area?

I think correlation is one area where the human mind is still very underdeveloped.
Equating poverty with belief in God is just as true as equating poverty with "black" people. And just as false.

But as usual we get spun the lie expression "fuel poverty".
In fuel poverty -working or not, they prefer to carry on letting the big corporations avoid tax etc to help those in fuel poverty and more besides.

I have to say I agree entirely, poverty is relative, poverty in the UK (at least amongst of them don't seem to have the latter or an equivalent (have you noticed how the poverty stricken all are playing for example.
