I had this problem with the Blackberry 8800.
Or create VGA-USB power only connector in it and just delivers power.

I've only bought power bricks from the OEM (Dell, etc) or eBay (cheap aftermarkets....
You'll need to get in the old adapter tip, you'll have an easier time of it .
They have a whole wall of used power bricks, and they were all less than $15.

I've always seen the "more light less current" feature hailed as a benefit to HIDs....
I thought the HID kits used less power than the stock lights, not more.

Does anyone else have the issue when plugging the power source into the mount, it doesn't go in all the way? The mount foundation gets caught on the metal threading piece that should fasten the power cord in place.

Yes, I ensure the power cable does not come in touch with any other cables occasion, the power cable came out while the scope was slewing and that was enough of a lesson.
