My that you are supposed to avoid herbal teas, but regular/sweet tea should be ok.
Echinacea, but are there any safe ones? I do know that Green Tea is not good during pregnancy.
DH got me a Keurig for mother's day (yea DH!) and I came with a sample of Sleepytime tea. It's chamomile and green tea, and decaf of course. I can't remember which types of tea are safe for pregnancy. Can someone enlighten me?

Hi ladies, I have a question. I know Coffee is not good to drink during pregnancy and I was told that decaffenated was ok. Is it ok to drink TEA? I always forget to ask my doc.

So if you plan to cut caffeine completely, you might not want tea.
It depends on the type of tea.
Tea has caffeine too, but usually smaller amount.
So a cup of coffee is okay.
You are allowed a small amount of caffeine per day .
I am reading my pregnancy week by week book and it says green tea is bad before conception and in the first trimester!?!? It says that it can inhibit folic acid and lead to neural tube defects! I am freaking out because that is pretty much all I've been...

IMO I think its fine in moderation but I'm no doctor .
I love chai tea but I havent had any since last yr.

Yep caffine. I noticed when i would drink tea in the afternoon, my lo didnt sleep so good at all. I switched to decaf and eliminated it and that did the trick. Good luck.
