Upcoming Automotive applications - WMExperts Forums
I know Celio is working on automotive applications of the redfly.
I see a great future for this.
As a 25year veteran tech with a vast knowiedge of automotive systems and a redfly owner, are you looking for any beta testers/installers?

I already use my Fly in the car, I have it set up on my Touch Pro so that one connection gets me Redfly, charging, and audio through my car stereo.
In the end, to improve enough on this model to get me to open my wallet, it would need to be touch screen and a double din model that replaced my original stereo.
This would be a tough sell as it cuts the niche for the exisiting Redfly into an even smaller group.
I would guess it is not feasible as a profitable product, but I would buy one.
PS - it would HAVE to handle video and still somehow offer a keyboard (perhaps wireless or detachable)

I need to get a car mount for mine.
I aggree it ned to be a touch screen and fit in a double din.

We're going to start selling a mounting solution on our site soon.
Not exactly sure when we'll have it up (most likely a week or two still) but you'll be able to buy the 5 pieces needed to mount a REDFLY and a phone - all in one kit.
It's not too hard to install.

Wow - that looks great - you guys ar really churning out the mobile goodness.
I will have to get a pic up of the setup I have been using - not near as neat and sexy as that.
Nicely done yet again - give that bad boy a good sale price and you will sell toquite a few redfly owners I would imagine.

This looks awesome and would be exactly what I've been thinking about for the car.
Would definitely get one if I have the money...
But I'm just thinking about how to explain having a open and running "laptop" in your car if you ever get into a control.
Any potential legal issues here?
