Ringtones (Mp3) and the Nokia 2610 - Nokia - Wireless Forums from AT&T
I have a Nokia 2610 and I'd like to transfer a small Mp3 ringtone to it, I don't have internet on it as it's a go-phone.
I don't have any sort of data transfer, how could I transfer an MP3 to it?

You should have pay-per-use internet, as well as pay-per-use messaging.
How big is the ringtone?
You could try emailing it to 10digitnumber@mms.att.net , but first check to see if 2610 supports MP3 ringtones at all.

It can support Mp3 and Mid, and, I'm using a SIM card..

You said you had an MP3 file.
Create an email with the MP3 file as an attachment and send it.

Ok, I'm having the same problem.
Here is what I have found.
I can send mp3 files from phone to phone, but I cannot send an mp3 file from my email account to my phone.
It appears that ATT has some kind of block on that type of transfer.
The mp3 is less than 200kb in size and is being sent from a gmail account to my phone like this: (mymobile#)@mms.att.net.
The message that I receive is the following:
The part audio/mpeg;name=songname.mp3 was removed from the message as not supported.
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
