Anyone else think the Browns will be an interesting team this season? - Steelers Fever Forums
I always thought that once Romeo Crennel came in there, that things would change, but the guy is definately mixing things up.
I mean, He's resigned Rueben Droughns and Orpheus Roye, who are definately gonna be 2 keystones of the franchise, and he's picked up LeCharles Bentley, Willie McGinest, and Joe Jurevicius.
I think this'll be really neat to watch this season.
Crennel has already decided that Frye is his QB, and I think if everything falls into place, the Browns could...

I think it'll be interesting to watch even if they flop.

There's no doubt that they've gotten better on paper.
Frye will be the key for em this year.
They may not be quite a serious contender yet,but they won't be the clowns of last year.

The only thing to keep Cleveland from turning the corner is if they were to continue to keep having bad luck and tough breaks happen to their team.
It's fair to say they could go 8-8 or maybe 9-7 and possibly challenge for second place in the division.
They have most definately closed the once gaping hole between themselves Cincy and Baltimore.

That cap room they had, I knew they'd get in much better position.
I still feel more of a rivalry with the Bungles, at this point, but I've got my eye on them.

Watching us shut them out this past season was great and all, but it sort of reminded me of kicking a lame dog.
Not that I don't like kicking lame dogs just kidding.
I hope they get better next season;
It will be more meaningful when we beat them.

Interesting? Sure.
I find them interesting every year since they are in our divison.
They still don't have a QB in my opinion.

I hope the rivalry returns because as it is they just "ain't" got it We need them to get better so there is more than trash talk among the fans.
And they can actually have a team on the field that is at least competitive.
