the Bush-era ban on Soldier's coffins with the Flag shown on television
Watching ABC news tonight, and they showed a pic of a soldiers coffin being taken off of a military plane.
Wasn't there a ban in place on our news media showing soldier's coffins during the Bush administration?
And if so, has this ban been lifted?
Further notes on bias that I saw:
ABC news is showing how upset the soliders are at their current situation.
Sadly, I don't recall our Mainstream News Media presenting stories showing upset soldiers during the Bush invasion of Iraq.
The story ended with a song "we've got to get out of this place".
Soldiers dying is serious business.
Our news media should present a balanced report no matter who is in the White House.
The bias is tangible.

It was lifted, but only if the family consents...

That ban had been in place since the Gulf War.
It existed well before W was put into office.
And yes, it has been lifted, but the family has to agree to allow the press on the airfield to photo the coffin.

ABC played the Animals?
That's cool.
