Innocent man wrongly killed via death penalty

So last night CNN was talking about a story in which an innocent man may have been sentenced to death. Well this story is not that, this is a man who was wrongly accused of killing his kids via fire, and those trigger happy Texans decided to kill him, and now the innocence he claimed is now proven to be true http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/01/opinion/01herbert.html How can we support this when the system clearly is not 100 percent accurate?

Thats fucking horrible.

Fucking disgusting.

I'm sitting here shaking my head.

I don't believe in the death penalty.

I think that, in several years, there might just be some scientific break-through that allows us to determine if a person really committed a crime.

With the death penalty, there is no room for a "do over".

Although it is unfortunate that a person loses some of their life, it is not the end of their existence.

I sympathize with the economic argument, but I don't think it holds up where lives are at steak.

Where is that asshole with whom I had legendary circular arguments about the death penalty? He was going on and on about how the government had a perfect record in terms of never having executed an innocent person, and that because none were found, it guaranteed that it never happened- a logically flawed argument, to be sure... I wish I could remember his name....

It was almost fun to argue with the guy I only wish I remember his avatar name so I could rub this shit in his face.

I was going t go to bed but had to log back on just to say one more time.

That is fucking wrong.

The district attorney, fire marshal and judge should be thrown in prison.

Can you imagine being that poor man?

True the process is good mostly but we still need to evolve the system and supporting the death penalty in anything less than a 100 percent ratio is bullshit!

Rob Is Here: How can we support this when the system clearly is not 100 percent accurate? System's have to be 100% accurate for you to support them?
