Innocent man wrongly killed via death penalty
So last night CNN was talking about a story in which an innocent man may have been sentenced to death.
Well this story is not that, this is a man who was wrongly accused of killing his kids via fire, and those trigger happy Texans decided to kill him, and now the innocence he claimed is now proven to be true

I don't believe in the death penalty.
I think that, in several years, there might just be some scientific break-through that allows us to determine if a person really committed a crime.
With the death penalty, there is no room for a "do over".
Although it is unfortunate that a person loses some of their life, it is not the end of their existence.
I sympathize with the economic argument, but I don't think it holds up where lives are at steak.

He was going on and on about how the government had a perfect record in terms of never having executed an innocent person, and that because none were found, it guaranteed that it never happened- a logically flawed argument, to be sure...

True the process is good mostly but we still need to evolve the system and supporting the death penalty in anything less than a 100 percent ratio is bullshit!
