I mainly record alternative/ acoustic/ classic rock type music..
I have a new album set for local release called "Hotel For Transients".
I'd like to get my material noticed by a distributor/ producer, really anyone who could help me get my foot in the door..

-All of our music is sold at the same low price of 69cents per track..?
-Boost is dedicated to bringing to its audience music from around the world....?
1st question: $0.69 cents per song?
So if I get this right, you all get 50% of that leaving the artist with $0.345 cents per song?
That means you would have to sell, 2315 singles to pay your $800 rent per month and who is really going to be able to do that unless your traffic on the site has as much as myspace which is around 150 million users plus.
How much is really checking Boost indie music?
(I never heard of it) and most times this is where these sites all lack when online.
Traffic is needed because if people don't know, how would they know if they like the songs if they don't know about them?..
2nd question: Doesn't myspace also dedicated to bringing to its audience music from around the world?
Anyone who is anyone that is involved in music is on here so how does Boost really compare when most haven't heard about it?
Lets be honest.
