Scoliosis
My doctor just told me that I have it today.
Mild, but still. I've done my research and read up on it but would like to hear from anyone who actually has it, how has it affected your life?
What symptoms, if any, do you have?
I have some weird, random pains and numbness that I haven't read is associated with scoliosis but my doc is convinced that's what's causing it.
Any advice?

If he didn't make her get x-rays, then yep.

I did get X-rays.
The curve is only 5 degrees which is why I don't see how it could be causing the symptoms since I read that many people are asymptomatic up until 20 degrees even.

I had a friend in HS who had scoliosis.
He said it didn't affect him much.
He was still able to participate in sports and actually ran a 4:20 mile.

It could be that there are more issues than just that.
You may want to ask for an MRI if you can afford one, if it's hurting you really bad and it's affecting your life negatively.
I was told the same thing by my doctor till I forced him to prove the pain was "all in my head" and finally sent me for an MRI.
Besides the Scoliosis, I have herniated discs, vertebrae problems, bone spurs and nerves are impinged.
