Will denial of a J1 Visa cancel a valid B1 Visa? - ImmigrationPortal Forums
I have a valid B1 Visa Stamped, I want to apply to get a J1 Visa.
If J1 application was denied at the consulate, would that cancel my current valid B1 Vias ?

Not specific to my liking Triple citizen....But a sure answer because I have heard many opinions, the embassy in Turkey told me that denial of J will not cancel B VISA.
While asking the uscis service in US, they told me that this may cancel the B status SO I AM ASKING ABOUT ANY ONE HAS GONE THROUGH THIS PROCESS

Even if someone went to the same consulate where you intend to apply, what happened to that applicant may not happen to you.
The interviewing consul has complete freedom to decide what to do with your other US visas when you apply for a different US visa.
One more thing, using all caps is considered shouting.
Please avoid it.
