Looking for a backlit keyboard...
Hay guise. Ive been researching quite a few keyboards lately.
I play WoW, a few FPSs, and i use winamp/itunes pretty often.
I don't need macro support, but if the keyboards got it, then fine.
I definately want something backlit and in the color blue with better keys than the stickey piece of shit logitech mx5000 keyboard i have now.
So far its between the Razer Lycosa and the Saitek Eclipse 3.
Razer Lycosa

Saitek Eclipse 3

What does PC crew use?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Lycosa right now (and the Mamba mouse) and it's basically sick as fuck, I like it a lot more than my old Logitech G15 (the older, blue model) though I've used the new, orange backlit model and it's pretty decent
I wouldn't go with the Saitek, pretty shitty cheap plastic shit
The Lycosa has a really nice light, good media keys, an optional extra USB port, and pretty awesome drivers so even though there are no "Macro" keys, you can reprogram any of the keys do do anything you want, including programmable macros and hotkey functions

ibRazerhaters FUCK logitech keyboards.
Godamn i have one i use at work that is decent, but other than that all the logitechs ive used/had has been shit.
Stickey keys, crappy drivers, shitty performance.
I really like the Razer more, the saitek kinda had me guessing as to what the quality would be like...hows the media controls on the keyboard?
Are the volume/playback keys any good?
Hows the keys? do they feel stickey/firm?

The media controls on the lycosa are pretty pretty good, they're touch-sensitive but still work pretty well, and the regular keys on the keyboard are awesome, they're somewhere inbetween really quality laptop keys and the regular tall keys on a traditional keyboard, and they're "non-slip rubber" keys which are awesome and not sticky at all

I have one of the older saitek eclipses (the revision right before the one w/ like the volume knob came out), i like it
not really a fan of the extra size added to keyboards by random options that i'd never use, but that's just me;
I'm sure they're nice if you're the type to use them.

I actually wanna try the old IBM keyboards that had springs or some shit under the keys, and they would clack loud when you hit them.
I like little give, more depth to my keyboards.

Haven't read the full article yet, and I doubt they have a backlit mech keyboard, but
